£19 for the first round of the League Cup is ridiculous.  Be it us, Scunthorpe, Lincoln, whoever.

I fully understand the need to charge an entry fee, fund the budget and all that. But £19 for a first round game against a less than glamour side (don't worry, Rochdale will feel exactly the same about us!) is going to put a lot of people off.

Cup gates shouldn't be factored into any budgeting.  Tonight is a freebie really.  Well done the club for doing the Free Kids tickets but I imagine the money coming through the gate tonight will be quite low.

To my knowledge the prices have never been reduced for the league cup or fa cup?

Not much above 2000 tonight I expect, I'll be there but £15 a head would have shown a bit of willing on the club's part.

'Blimey, the club is funded by 'supporters', the clue is in the name. Get your hands in your pockets and pay the players wages!'

You and I may think that BP Vicar but how many of the folk who streamed out early from the FG game will think the same. Lincoln fans going to Port Vale will have to pay far less. Many of those who went to Macc may not be able to afford three games in a week. It's the summer holidays and the £/ Euro rate may have a bearing in some households!.
