Not played for Town but Mike Newell held the record for the fastest Champions League hat-trick for quite a few years (Blackburn).

Err, Neil Webb maybe? Probably Cup Winners Cup rather than European Cup.

Was that the Inter-Toto Cup or whatever variation it was then?  

Terry Cooke probably played in some European games for Man Utd as he was breaking through.
