But we need a squad. not just a team. Welsh picks up yellow cards for fun, injuries happen, form is inconsistent, opposition may dictate need for change in personnel.
He may not start many initially but he has good experience and better at retaining possesion than most.

Completely different players although not prolific Amond was always a goalscoring forward. Cook never has been so I don't get the link
