After today's magnificent win at Swindon are we going to stay up ?

Just need Morcambe to take a point off Barnet - simple!

That said if anyone deserves to stay up (apart from us of course) its Barnet. They looked totally dead and buried, late change of manager to try to avoid relegation and he has really got what was a hopeless squad playing and has produced the results.

Morecambe v Barnet could be the decider next Saturday Morecambe win Barnet go down, we win it'll then be between Morecambe and Barnet on the last day of the season. Chesterfield are down, sad to see for their genuine fans as I wouldn't wish non league on them.

Could really do with a Cambridge win on Tuesday, because with a very tough last game away to Coventry, they'll be In danger of dropping down at the last hurdle.(Morecambe)
On the other hand our worst goal difference could still yet be our undoing.

I think if Morecambe and Barnet draw we are safe (not bothered who goes down so long as its not us!)

Well yes we will be because Barnet would only be able to get to 44 points max.

That's right because with Barnet five points behind us now, if they only get the one point v Morecambe they cannot match our points tally

It's still in our hands and we need maximum effort from the remaining two games. The last thing we want is squeaky bum time away to Veggie Green Rovers.

I think by this time next week we will be safe, I can see us beating County (drawing at worst)  and Morecambe v Barnet will be a draw .

That Barnet win has taken a bit of the shine off today's win. I think they might well win their last two. We still need something and it would help if Cambridge get a result against Morecambe on Tuesday night.
Winning away at Swindon should have put us safe. Like Ginny, I just hope that our failure to beat Barnet doesn't kill us.

I think the Morecambe-Cambridge game on Tuesday could be pivotal for us.

Morecambe win and they're safe. Therefore you wouldn't then bank on them putting up much of s fight against Barnet next Saturday.

If it's a draw or a Cambridge win then Barnet can still catch them. Then Saturday's game between Morecambe & Barnet becomes a real battle. If Morecambe were to win that we'd be safe. If Barnet were to win that, it'd go down to the last day between us (working on worst case scenario of us losing to Notts), Morecambe and Barnet. And Morecambe being away to Coventry would be the team least likely to get anything I would've thought.

Odds can change quickly. Morecambe were 100/1 to go down before yesterday's games.

Notts Co will be favourites to win at BP and Barnet could easily win at Morecambe. It's very possible that we will need to win away at VGR to survive.

It seems like an eternity since we were 40/1.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'
