It's also the responsibility of the central midfielders to move themselves, to find pockets of space from which to influence the play. Beyond his goal last week, I don't think berretts ever influenced a game. And you can blame it on the players in front of him, but Summerfield has managed to be one of our best players despite the players in front of him, and Mitch rose is our top goal scorer. When you're offering a lot less than rose, you know you're useless.

I'd argue the movement in midfield is non-existent to try and receive the ball from defenders too. The ball may go long over Berrett's head from the back 4 a lot but I don't see him really wanting the ball or making a real effort to create angles to receive it.

From what I've seen Clifton's movement off the ball is above any of our other midfielders.

Spot on! Clarke is a walking disaster and has cost us a goal or conceded a penalty in the last four games running.

I thought it was Clifton who mis headed it to their player to score the 3rd? Doesn't matter who it was really we are up the creek without a paddle.
