Can't wait for the game tomorrow and genuinely excited for the first time in ages!
Yeah,  I know,  I know.  I'm just setting myself up for more misery and disappointment.  It's the same players blah blah blah.... BUT maybe, just maybe a new brighter dawn is breaking?

I am sure we will start with a flurry of goals,

Not 1    not 2     but 3,

Yes 3 goals by town in one game,

Also great support from the fans who deserve a decent game for a change.

Me too, I’m taking my son and daughter tomorrow, my daughter has been to 7 games and never seen us lose so let’s hope she brings luck tomorrow.

Just be glad to see the back of Slade and his mundane tactics hope Dembele finds his spark again.

It's a clean slate for the players, let's see how good some of them are or are not, if they cannot give 90 plus minutes for the cause tomorrow i will be disappointed, however with what i hope is fresh tactics and a plan A & B from our new manager i am exited for tomorrow, a win will start to bring back some of the love i have lost over this last year.

A goal or three plus three points would mean a lot of mojos floating around the Park.

Hopefully the one thing we will witness tomorrow is a return to a BP that provides a positive atmosphere and gets behind the team and stays behind it even if we go a goal down.

What I hope for is a much positive approach from the players and a team that plays with some intensity and pace (although due to the squad latter is a problem). Unfortunately with the injuries his hands on selection options are more limited then I would want but a midfield that includes McAllister & Clifton would give me further encouragement.

Team selection will be a matter of great interest will he be conservative and stick mainly with what we have and rely on his tactical and motivational skills to get an improved performance and 3 points or, will he throw down a marker make a number of changes and tell recalled players to go out and prove they should have been playing all season.

Could even the likes of Kelly suddenly be in with a shout?

Be tuned in to RH on route with a lot of hope and anticipation 😄😄

With all the incentives the club has offered plus a keen young new manager if that does not inspire the likes of Dembele I don't know what will.

Our season needs a change of direction and a fresh approach not just for us fans but players like Macca who want to experience the joys of winning. Thus a clean sheet would be nice as well but not essential.

I'm hoping he's got a Plan A, B, C and D but only needs Plan A to beat Port Vale..

Gutted I won't be their but will check my phone if and when possible. I feel more optimistic about us more now than ever since Hurst got us promoted. UTM

Am right behind Jolley, but this is one of those occasions when I'm hoping that the team can match the standard of the fans, and I'm more hopeful than confident.
3 points a must, by hook or by crook.

The guy seems to know what he's talking about, and he may have his own preferred system of play. It might not include the likes of Dembele, don't forget. Don't get too wrapped up in the thoughts that he's going to undo everything Slade did. He might want 11 players on the pitch who are going to run through brick walls for Town in these last 10 games, and might see Dembele as an impact susbstitute once their work is done? Just hope everything goes to plan tomorrow. Main thing is (A) we score at least one goal (B) we don't lose and (C) Blundell Park resembles a place where Town players want to play and opposition teams don't particularly like to visit.

the only thing i dont like about clean slates is that, in theory, the really sh!t players may get rewarded with another chance.  Some of them must look like world beaters in training to somehow get picked by various managers yet never delivering on a Saturday.
I hope clean slate is actually referring to those that never seemed to get a look in previously for no clear apparent reason.
