Our Cathedral City Imp fan friends are panicking like mad.
Three good players gone and only 1 in so far.
In a squad that was already the smallest lightweight squad in League 2 where the need was to sign a further 4-5 players.
They now only have 17 players which includes three keepers and one or or two that are out on loan including Callum Howe at Easleigh.

Many of their fans are scared witless and hoping that the Cowleys have got something up their sleeves to bring in a shed load of quality players, capable of mounting a promotion push in League 2. But the common consensus is that they now need 7-8 new quality players, which is a very difficult ask during the January window.

Others are suggesting that the need to get 7-8 new players in is like virtually a complete rebuild of the squad.

Lots of suggestion that the Cowleys may have been naive in not getting enough through the door in the summer rebuild and relying too much on loan signings.

One thing is for certain, they have got a massive job to do now in January in order  to sustain their position and get over the line.

Will be interesting to watch

Let's hope it all goes pear shaped.

No-one is arsed tbh. Well done them for turning round a club in deep decline into one looking at a second consecutive promotion. With a progressive modern, management team. With millions in the bank. How on earth have we been allowed to become the third ranked team in Lincolnshire?

We will have more to worry about when Jones, Dembele and Osborne leave.

Our lot can't even fall over properly, to add to their lack of potency. Matt can put himself about but somehow lacks the, erm..subtlety of Rhead and somehow gets more decisions against him.

I find it difficult to look through crud smeared windows and say their house isn't in good order.

I'm more worried out the state of affairs at Town than the bellringers down the road who are 5th and 9 points clear of us. They've also won 3 out of 5 drawing 1 and losing 1 where our form is lost 3 drawn 2 and -8 on goal difference.

Especially if they turn up at Simple Bank

Too right we have bigger worries than the Imps, Lincolns back room set up is much better than ours and with home gates are double ours.

The Cowley bros are a good duo among the best in this division and the boardroom and fans are altogether the exact opposite of here.

Their squad may be small but they are not wasting money on contracted players/bench warmers who the manager as no faith in whatsoever.

Only GTFC concerns me and at the moment worries me about where the feck we are going both on and off the field.

Unlike us they won`t have too many problems attracting players and you can bet whatever comes in will be quality in so much better than what`s already there.Them Cowley boys should sign Scott Vernon,Paul Dixon,JJ Hooper and add a wealth of experience.

I wish we had their problems, cash in the bank, good attendances, pro active management strong league position and form with the potential to score the odd goal here and there.

Worse thing is they would probably play well under the Cowleys, managers that seem to know what they are doing.

They have signed a small amount of players but clearly ones who are wanted and of good quality and have refused to sign players out of desperation and to try and get numbers through the door. Gives them a good budget to go out and choose more quality for a push towards promotion. Seems like a good tactic.

Now what have we done.......

They are riding a crest of a wave.....they have secured League status already realistically so have the luxury of only now disappointing their recently acquired fans by falling OUT of the play places...not a bad position to be in for their first season back.

Everyone knew Raggett was going. Dickie was a surprise going to Oxford   , Rowe coming in is a good signing and expect a few good signing soon.
