I still think of the foghorns now when opening up the backdoor to 'let the old year out and walking round to the front to let the new year in'. I'm probably one of the few idiots round here who do that

You're not surprisingly, old tradition for my family too. Also phoning my mum as the bells strike midnight to wish her a happy new year, I've done that every year since leaving home.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Jesus’ disciple Peter, picked up a fish to get the tribute money from it, Jesus left his thumb print on the fish, bless'ed is the Haddock.

When I say I'm the only idiot round here to do it, I mean in this bit of Kingston upon Thames.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

It's a bit more diverse than that round here. We have posh Asians, Turks and Koreans too. And Meggies.
