Maybe they can put them all in the first team, good local lads will put in a shift they know what Grimsby is all about.

The opposition keeper was awful. Could have done better with all 4 goals.

Hope he makes the Notts first team by the time we play them although we would have to get some shots on target!

Why do we have a youth set up?????

What is the percentage of players from the youth setup ever play regular for us or any other league team?

We could use the money we save for the first team squad?

This may be controversial but i think it needs looking at.


In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.
