Fact that two clubs recently let him go. Fact that he has never scored consistently at this level despite being primarily a striker.

I've not written him off, he may well (hopefully) be good for us. But history shows that he's not really done it before. We can't predict correctly predict the future all the time but the best idea we have is going off past events. At the time of signing he's never done well enough for the clubs who have him to try and keep him.

Apologies if I've came across a bit of a d1ck while giving my view.

Also dont forget that he was apparently not being played in his proper position at Crawley. Maybe the fact that he has had a good first game/ 30 mins or so will help the board have faith in MB making the right decisions about who he needs and allow him to do so.

Hardly in the same class. Podge scored a similar number of goals in one season as the Shop did in  2 1/2 years.
