Back to Humberside for half-time, maybe we will get an explanation why they haven't bothered doing a commentary.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I read old skool regional stuff as div 3 north and south

If I recall correctly Town are the only team to play in Division 1, Division 2, ,Division 3 N, Division 3 S, Division 4 and the National League

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

I'm not bothered about the lack of a JT commentary as I find him too negative and lacking enthusiasm. I understand that he tries to remain neutral but I feel he takes it too far, however I do love John Moores commentaries. UTM

Wimbledon were elected after winning the Southern League.

I stand corrected. That rules them out then. I thought the top non-league Division had been national since the early 70's, obviously not.

C'mon Town. These are the sort of games we need to win if we are to challenge.

1979 according to Wiki, but automatic promotion only came in in 1987.

Personally, I'd say Wimbledon is right anyway! (AFCW were given the cup by MKD, same club, morally anyway)

I thought the Gimps won the National League in its first year. Could be wrong though.

That was the first season after automatic promotion/relegation.
