It is strange how something that is a few days away seems ages, yet I was just remembering an evening last August at Bradley when the new town squad turned out for their first run out. Seems just like yesterday and I remember shaking PH by the hand and wishing him and the team a successful season. He politely said "thank you very much, we will be doing our very best to achieve that"  I wish him, the team and the fans every success on Sunday.

So if the worst was to happen do you :-

A) Watch Bristol Rovers presentation and lap of honour.

I stayed on to watch Wrexham get the Trophy but in all honesty, I think if the worst happens on Sunday, there is no way I could watch the BRovers contingent celebrate...it would be soul destroying

That's why we just have to win ourselves and we could celebrate as much as we want until they kick us out of London

Grimsby Town promotion seasons were,

1901, 1911, 1926, 1929, 1934, 1956, 1962, 1972, 1979, 1980, 1990, 1991, 1998 so the longest period was 1934 to 1956 (22 years) but WWII interrupted football between 1939 and 1945. It's currently 17 years since 1998 so in seasons we've just broken the record.

Here's hoping we end that longest record on Sunday and create a new shortest one by getting promoted to League One in Feb 16.

Please not extra time and PLEASE not penalties.

The Eastleigh home game was lovely, job done by half time and a nice, relaxing celebratory mood for 45 minutes.

So yeah 5-0 by half time please Town.

As with the Wrexham game, stay and applaud.

Unlike the Franchise game. Turn back on them as soon as Town players went off.

How have we been relegated out of flight 2 twice more than we have been promoted into it.
even if we started in second flight that's only once more.
Unless they count that season in the early 20's when we were relegated into the midland league.
but then thats an extra relegation and promotion, thus yes we are the most promoted and relegated side.

We are the most relegated team as it stands anyway

That's to the end of the 2013/14 season so Notts have another relegation now so will be level.

That was 1910/11 when there were only 2 Divisions so I assume they've classed that as 2nd flight to 3rd flight.
