All politicians are in favour of stadiums.

That are somewhere else or are already built and are often full of people.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

"Pound for pound, and class for class, the best football team I have seen in England since the war. In the league they were in they played football nobody else could play. Everything was measured, planned and perfected and you could not wish to see more entertaining football." Bill Shankly, Manager GTFC 1951-54

So did the people of Grimsby and Cleethorpes vote for politicians, that are in favour of a new stadium for Grimsby Town Football Club?

Despite living off Clee Road, i'm in the Heneage ward and it was won by Matthew Patrick (LAB) who is on the planning committee and also on the regeneration and housing scrutiny panel. Don't know if that is a good or bad thing for the stadium prospects.
