What do you call unexpected?
Most of the players that are fit  have a legitimate claim for a place,  my guess is that he will play his normal away day philosophy  defensive with breakaway goals deciding it  2-1 to Town

Not sure what would constitute unexpected. Paddy? That's about it. I would have said Hannah a week ago but after his 2 clinical finishes at the weekend if wouldn't be a total shock if he played. I think only McKeown, Pearson and Magnay are completely undroppable, Toto and Disley close behind, after that there is competition for every place.

Eastleigh striker James Constable has not trained this week and is doubtful for Thursday's game with a knock.

Yemi Odubade has returned from his loan spell at Woking and is available while captain Dean Beckwith could also feature after a recent illness.

Grimsby Town are likely to recall Carl Magnay, Shaun Pearson, Nathan Arnold and Lenell John-Lewis after resting them for the win over Aldershot.

Gregor Robertson (knee ligaments) and Christian Jolley (hamstring) are out.

Eastleigh boss Richard Hill told BBC Radio Solent:

"I've told my players to enjoy it, we are the underdogs, we've got nothing to lose.

Pressure all on Grimsby - Richard Hill

"We can't win the tie on Thursday but we can definitely lose it. We need to go into Sunday's game giving ourselves a chance of beating Grimsby and going through.

"They have already beaten us twice. There is no pressure on us as we were not expected to be in the play-offs.

"The pressure is all on Grimsby. They're expected to win the tie and are expected to go on and win promotion.

"They've got the history and they've got to try and get the club back in the Football League."

Why does reading that make me all nervous...

Nothing stated but the truth but the psychology behind it makes it seem that it's ours to lose...

Just hope our lads don't succumb to any mind games and that what is stated there becomes fact

Has the sparrow tweeted you?

If you are hinting that you are in the know and this turns out to be true my guess would be the unexpected player will be Hannah alongside Lenny.

That's just it; psychology. Putting the onus on us and taking it away from them is the aim. Can we handle the expectation basically.
