and in the game there was the most blatant piece of cheating to get a fellow pro sent off. There should be a way that retrospective action can be taken against Forestieri.

It's about time that an automatic 5 match ban was brought in for blatant cheating like that.

  That is so ridiculous it's kind of funny. Surely the appropriate punishment here is a ban of several games along with  scorn and ridicule from his fellow professionals.

As someone who was kicked unconscious at their ground the victim has my sympathies

Can't help but think there are some hollow words about the situation. The club itself might have its hands tied when it comes to protection of away fans away from the ground but the way the area around Molyneux used to be policed leaves a lot to be desired and seems it's still as bad
