Tel interview on BT Sport, concentrating on getting a play off spot first, worry about winning league after that

Yes just saw that,

I am looking at the ground and thinking what it will look and sound like,

With 1,000 Town fans in it.

It was a nice little bit of air-time for Town.  Adam Virgo seems to be a closet Town fan as he always has good things to say about the team and fancied Town's chances of winning the league.  Hurst was his usual level-headed self.

Serial thread killer.

Played things down beautifully. Let others have the pressure.

I know most people dislikes Hurst's 'dull' approach but with the position and situation we are in I believe that it is the best way to be. The players have belief and motivation which isn't a problem and Hurst's job is to keep there feet on the ground and keep them focused. We all know Martin Allen has a tendency to lose it and  explode and hopefully Bristol Rovers fans will get on Darrell Clarkes back and cause problems there.

I think he has been quite animated in the last few interviews, usually a lot more cautious! He's right in what he says but I hope his message to the players is to go straight for the title and let the play offs look after themselves.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I think this probably one of his best interviews and I especially liked what he said about the game and the players.

The comment about the wigs was funny and I think that's the first time in one of his interviews we have seen another side to PH.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.
