Not looked the player he was for a couple of years now. Although for those Istanbul moments there's been the misplaced passes to opposition players who inevitably score and the now infamous slip. Who'd have thought a draw with Leicester would be the final straw?

He's said something about wanting to have new experiences, as reason to play in America, Big fat final pay cheque more likely. If he wants new experiences why doesn't he go and be player/manager for an amateur team in the third world for a year or something.
