Who is feeling confident about todays game?

I am hoping for a win today after the poor display/result from the Lincoln game, Will be interesting to see Pauls team selection today, Is there any news on Magnay?

Lets hope we can do the double over Macclesfield and go on a good run.

Out of curiosity when was the last time we lost two on the bounce at home?

See you at the game.

Happy new year ,

T B H , I  feel thst a draw will suit  both teams , us , one win , one draw , one loss . For them a draw would in somecways  will have stopped the rot . The crowd , will be interesting to see the numbers ,  will expect nothing but a win . So much has been said about the last match  , lets forget it as much as we can  and get on with the job in hand .

The two that were , taken out , by Lincoln are key to me . One by being a leader on the pitch and the other our most creative and exciting player . It all guess work , team , formation etc . I do think we need a spark as we are too pridictable at the moment .

We have to go for a win! A draw is almost acceptable. We must keep well inside
The play offs and at the same time not rule ourselves out of top spot.

Happy new year all

Both teams need to win to keep alive any title hopes, but both may be privately ok about a draw in many ways.

Interesting for me, is the attendance after Town choked the rekindled excitement in that infuriating way that we inevitably do whenever the missing thousands give it another go. Macc might bring 300 so probably a crowd of 3500-4000 tops I reckon, which is pretty telling and a real shame.

As for the result and the selection - I really don't know anymore.

I hope town are not ok about a draw. If we go into the game with that in our minds we will definately come unstuck. On the other hand if we go all out for the win and get it, that will be 9 points out of 12 over Christmas, over 2 points per game, now that is promotion form. Come on town lets do it.

Yeah I know that and I agree with you, but I was merely suggesting that, probably, both managers will be very mindful of losing the game, and may be prepared to accept a draw to a certain extent.

We just need to do a job on Macc like we did at their place.
Stop them playing, and keep a high tempo all match.
Same again lads please.
