Town clinched promotion at Griffin Park, last day of the season with a 2-0 win in front of 19,000. Imagine there would have been a huge contingent from Grimsby there?

I think the Brentford promotion winning game on May 1st was a Tuesday night match so unlikely to be a big following there, especially in 1962. Apparently there were a lot of QPR fans there to cheer on Brentford because QPR needed us to lose. There had been a massive BP crowd on the Saturday before when we beat Watford 5-3 though.
