I would class getting us out of this league with only one promotion slot an outstanding achievement.   Potentially any player who is part of the team that gets us out of this league will be remembered for decades. No one is forced into the Army etc unlike the poor souls of WW1 & 2 , they were HEROES in the truest sense .  My 6 year old son , however, think LJL and Disley are heroes ]Remember its just my opinion  ..... It might not be true ............

In modern times the lines between choice and forced are blurred when you live in an area with very little, to no employment or future prospects.   Plenty of service personnel have performed heroics in modern warfare, an example is the female medic who risked her life under constant fire to save her colleagues who were seriously injured. Heroes come in many forms and guises. Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.
