Hear hear. Good on Luton for adopting it.

Scandalous that Prem clubs with their riches don't adopt it. Shows that they don't really see it as the "People's Game".

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Chelsea to do it from next month, according to wsc

(although the 1st sentence of that story is obviously incorrect)

I can imagine a few members of the playing staff ringing their agents to ensure it didnt mean they would be getting a pay cut !!

a good step for luton employees. having worked and lived down south, albeit for a short period 18 months, you cannot survive on the national minimum wage (that is with having any decent quality of life) so by them adopting the living wage which i believe is aprox £2 an hour more will make a big difference to them. hopefully more clubs will adopt this and not exploit their own employees and take them for granted.

Fair play to them. (And I can tell you it gave me no pleasure to praise them!   )
