What's everybody's current take on the club, both on and off the field?

Personally, it's a mixture of frustration and desperation. We seem to have a very good squad for this level that, apart from the Alfreton/Gateshead weekend, PH doesn't seem to get the best from. Off the field, apart from the fanbase, there seems little appetite for the new stadium, both from politicians and the general public. The desperation is as a result of a decade of decline which has been picked over ad nauseam, but it seems the longer we go without success, the more desperate we are to get it. I know that's only natural but are some of us (me included) expecting too much?

My personal take on the club is that some fans need to take a chill pill every now and again, and stop jumping on PH like a female dog on heat over an interview. Fickle of the highest order!

Two fourth places the last two seasons. We look well placed to at least better this. If we get in the play-offs then I'd much prefer to have the second leg at BP which we've never managed yet.

Just been watching a programme on the BBC,

A high rise building is going up in China every 5 minutes,

So a football stadium in 6 months is easy peasy.
