What is the furthest a non league team has progressed in the FA Cup?

"Pound for pound, and class for class, the best football team I have seen in England since the war. In the league they were in they played football nobody else could play. Everything was measured, planned and perfected and you could not wish to see more entertaining football." Bill Shankly, Manager GTFC 1951-54

7 teams have progressed to the last 16 of the FA Cup. They are Colchester United, Yeovil Town, Blyth Spartans, Telford United, Kidderminster, Crawley and Luton Town.

The final. Tottenham won it as a non league club before they were members of the league, if I'm not mistaken.

You are indeed correct Paris.

Since the 1970's though there are 5 non-league teams that have reached the 5th Round.

Blyth Spartans in 1977/78 who lost 2-1 to home Wrexham in a 5th Round replay. Telford United in 1984/85 who lost 3-0 at Everton, Kidderminster Harriers in 1993/94 who lost 1-0 at home to West Ham, Crawley Town in 2010/11 who lost 1-0 at Man United and most recently Luton Town in 2012/13 lost 3-0 at home to Millwall.
