Seeing as we play better against the so called bigger clubs in this league,

I am going for a convincing win ( not a Gateshead ) but I was not impressed with Torquay at Alfreton so,

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

No, the meltdown comes after we fail to beat the mighty Guiseley.

I have a feeling the Hurst travelling blockade will come unstuck this week. Maybe 3-1 or more to Torquay.

Pittman to grab the only goal of the game 5 minutes from time just after coming on as sub, in front of 350 Mariners and 6 smoke bombs!

I'd settle for the scrappiest 1-0 away win in any fashion, with no injuries and hopefully no more bookings or sendings off.

How about Clay or Brown as two off the wall potential goalscorers for the vital winning goal??

Match abandoned because of a pitch invasion due to 400 Town fans still being drunk from the night before... Seriously, I think it will depend on how we approach the game. I would be satisfied with a point away from home and against promotion contenders. I wasn't at the home game against them but the commentary sounded as though we allowed them to play and didn't close them down quick enough. I'm confident that if we take the lead first we'll go on to win the match. Crucial that key players such as Neilson are utilised effectively though. I think he's best playing behind a two-man strike partnership (4-3-1-2). That way he is given the freedom and isn't forced into a position as he is when PH plays 4-4-2.

We've got Jason Pearcey, number one, we've got the best team in the land...
