alot of people saying that a change of manager would need time to settle in and get to know the players etc, but an example is Scunthorpe last season they was playing poor under Laws, sacked him got Wilcox then a unbeaten run started and ended with promotion.
Just using that as an example that if we get Rid of Hurst now it may ultimately work in our favour.
They are struggling now , but I would love to be in their position . It was an internal appointment that the players appear to have liked and results were forthcoming . The only person we have is Doig , who Hurst seems to ignore anyway . Interesting times ahead , yet again . You have to admit being a Town fan is something special . .

He does ignore him too because he's always talking to Dave Moore and doigs just sat down in the dug out.

Definitely special... but in a good way? far from it!
I think Doigs managerial role extends to some training sessions, pre-match warm ups and putting the cones out. Does not seem to have any true managerial responsibilities.

So one has to ask , why have that role if it's name only ? The fans were saying that Hurst needs and experienced number 2 , one was given the role . Yet again Mr Stubbornness relys on Moore . Appears the appointment was forced upon the manager . If it does come to the point of us looking for a replacement how would you feel if Mr Doig took temporary charge ?

If it came to losing Hurst we might not have any other options, but In my view it would be stupid board who dismissed a manager without having a pretty good idea who they would like as a replacement, unless the dismissal was sudden and unexpected as in the case of Rob Scott. Anyway I don't think it is going to happen in the near future.
