When we first came down into the conference, I said we will go straight back up,

In the 2nd season , I said we will get promoted,

In our 3rd season, I said we will get promoted,

In our 4th season, I said we will get promoted,

At the start of this season our 5th, I said we will be promoted,

Well I was wrong for the first 4 seasons and I am sure I will be wrong this season,

The longer we are down here the harder it will be to get out,

All my positivity has been knocked out of me,

All I have got left is hope,

I will always support the Mariners and I will be at Dartford cheering the lads on to victory,

BUT

As I said before it's more in hope than anything else.

Yes it's a really good piece that. I think a lot of long terms fans are very, very close to giving up on Town, if they haven't already.
That article explains why that is. Will anyone notice or do anything about it? Even when there are fewer than 3000 at BP next Tuesday?

Talking of how things have changed, look at this season.  We peaked too early then we "troughed" too early.  Rarely can a team have had such good results and bad results so early in the season.

We are consistently inconsistent.  The last 2 games are great examples of this.
