One Direction are widely popular but I get what you're saying. Maybe I am wrong.

Springsteen bored me senseless when I saw him at Glastonbury some years back. Luckily I was near the cider bus so was able to get slowly pickled on mulled cider to nullify the pain.

Bruce Springsteen both is wildly popular and critically acclaimed. Anyone suggesting his musical output is 'a shower of absolute rubbish' is unequivocally wrong.

Springsteen May be critically acclaimed but only because of hype and at one point it was "hip" to be a
Springsteen fan. It doesn't mean his music is particularly good. In fact I find it puerile and unoriginal.

Springsteen? Hype? Jog on pal, he's still selling out stadiums and putting on three hour shows every night in his sixties. That's not hype.

Yes, hyped up by his multinational record company who have made the tosser worth about  three billion dollars despite professing to be an ordinary working class man who sings about the poor and impoverished.
Hypocritical wouldn't, you say?

we were 'dancing in the dark' today.  It just seems like the fans are getting sold 'down the river', and saying with a 'hungry (and heavy) heart',  we aren't going to be 'tougher than the rest' this season.  I'm not saying we're 'goin' down', but this is 'my hometown' and it gives me 'sad eyes' to see them 'surrender'.

Just been dancing in the dark during the sudden power cut (2 hours) where I am.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.
