I've not seen anything about his injury (I've probably missed it), and I hoping the reason is because it isn't all that. Would someone be kind enough to tell me what the latest with his injury is?

Many thanks.

I think it said in the telegraph that he might have twisted his knee or something it was definitely a result of a tackle.

John Tondeur has tweeted "#gtfc defender Shaun Pearson has not suffered a serious knee injury and there is chance he will play on Saturday". This was tweeted at 1:15pm on 11 Sep 14.

Here's hoping he is right!

Let's hope this is right. Losing him would be massive blow.

At risk of getting shot down in flames I don't think Pearson has started the season as well as he is capable, been a bit below par imho.

Having said that, would be a  loss if not available. If he isn't then a back line of Bignot, Doig,Nsiala and Magnay should be good enough.

Think I'd sooner see Walker start than Bignot.
Shift Magnay to right back and walker on the left.
And actually Jase, I tend to agree about Pearson, but just a slow start to the season hopefully.

Heard that on humberside earlier too, there were also other injuries/concerns, but hurst wouldn't say who, though it's speculated that clay picked up something on Tuesday night

I'd be ok with Pearson managing say 60 minutes and Doig coming on, after seeing him Tues night.More concerned with seeing the fullback positions more settled.
