Looks like they had fun and games there on Saturday. Braintree seem to have a habit of beating newly relegated teams to The Conference early in the season. Rovers fans seem a friendly lot too.

WARNING - Some rather colourful language in this clip.

Seems Rovers are fast learning that getting out of this league is way way harder than dropping into it.

They don't know what's to come.

Sounds no worse than us at Aldershot.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

you don't truly realise just how bad it is, until you take your 6-year-old son to his first away match. It's pretty shocking and largely uncalled for, frankly.

Rovers fans learning how bad the standard of refereeing is in this league.
For me its the biggest difference  between league 2 & the conference, the standard of football is at times as good if not better, there are the exceptions of course, but the refereeing is just dire. Everybodys got to start somewhere I suppose

Absolutely agree. Nothing worse than people bringing their young kids, especially since they expect that the entire grounds experience should be based around the needs of their offspring who barely understand how the offside rule works.

Hey pretty much knew all the rules and was a regular aged about 8 but it absolutely petrified one game when it all kicked off a few yards away, why do people think that they can forget about being normal people and turn into Neanderthal loonys the minute they get near a football ground
