WE'RE calling on Mariners fans, who are travelling down to the FA Trophy Final at Wembley this month to join together in Trafalgar Square once again for another very special photo.

Back in 2008, our photographer Ray Corke snapped hundreds of Town fans who had congregated at the famous landmark ahead of the Johnstones Paint Trophy Final against MK Dons.

.Of course, their smiles disappeared when the Mariners lost 2-0, but hopes are high that things will be different this time around.

We are calling on as many fans as possible to meet in the Square at 3.30pm on Saturday, March 23 to help recreate the famous photo.

I was in trafalgar sq when we played the harry haddock fifth rd at wimbledon!

That was a day and a half.

Stood on that grassy bank at Plough Lane watching the 3C double decker come down the road was surreal.

Then the tube afterwards. Never forget seeing a middle aged woman looking nervous when she saw the assembled northern hordes get on, then thaw when some real roughhouse looking type with tats on his neck insisted on giving her his seat.
