He is freelance and gets loads of work (but crap pay at the moment): He managed to get onto a Masters course at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield. http://nftsfilm-tv.ac.uk/ after getting a Degree here  http://www.artsed.co.uk/

Good luck with your career, it isn't easy.

All my son needs is a break and he'll be off, getting that first big contract or opening is the difficult bit. He has so many talented mates also trying to make a living in the film and television world it is really hard: they work long hours for little pay all hoping for that one chance to hit the big time.

Some of his films get into festivals around the world but he hasn't won anything yet: saw one of his films on a Virgin Atlantic flight last month, which was nice. He's slowly getting there and will one day be able to repay me some of the love and dosh I've given him.
