Might just be me, but anyone with any level of Spanish who wants to read up about the GTFC and the BSP in general, in Spanish, can do so through a website being run by a Spanish friend of mine. A good little intro piece on our season so far here.

Please let me know if this includes any of you, and I'll ask him to write up some more stuff. Interestingly there's a good piece on Macclesfield's new Spanish right back Antonio Amores, and a youtube video of him, looks pretty handy!!!

The Grimsby Town is a team of the coastal city of Cleethorpes, in North East Lincolnshire, England, that compete in the National Conference (Blue Square Premier).  The Team was formed in 1878 with the name of Grimsby Pelham and later became Grimsby Town.  The club is situated in Blundell Park, where has been since 1898.

This season is situated in fifth position with 64 points and is situated in the end of the FA Trophy against the Wrexham.  We are going to do an I review of its season.

In August began the season with five parties where drew the first one to one against the Southport, the second lost it against the Stockport for 1-2 and drew the two following parties to zero.  The last party of August managed to win for 4-1 to the Mansfield (at present is in second position of the league).

September was a month to recall since in the 7 parties that disputed did not they lose neither one with large results as the 4-1 set against the Luton, the 3-0 set against the Gateshead or the 0-2 set against the Hereford. Also won to the Forest Green for 1-0 while the other three parties drew them.  They were situated with 21 points in 12 encounters.

October was all the contrary thing that last month since of the five parties that disputed only won two and suffered hard routs for 0-2 set against the Dartford, 0-1 set against the Macclesfield and 2-4 set against the Kidderminster.  Its victories were against teams of the lower-middle zone of the board as they were the Alfreton Town and the Telford.

In the following four months the Grimsby signed the best gust of wind of the season with a total of 14 parties without losing and only two lost.  The two parties lost were against the Hyde and the Braintree Town.  In 10 encounters of the 14 without losing they were with victories against teams as the Wrexham, Lincoln, Alfreton, Woking or Braintree among others.  To these heights of the season had a total of 61 points.

Already in this month of March began well enough winning to the Forest Green for 0-1 but has had a gust of wind of four continued party losing against teams that are fighting for elevating and fighting for the playoffs as they are the Kidderminster or Mansfield.  The other two rival were the Cambridge United and the Nuneaton.

In the FA Trophy managed to arrive at the end thanks to a great tournament in all the qualifying rounds.  It began quite hesitant upon winning for 1-0 at home to the Buxton after a replay.  It continued and in 16avos of end won with a lot of reliability to the Havant & Waterlooville for 4-0.  In eighth it touched the Welling and managed to recover to an initial goal of Healy and finally won for 1-2 the encounter.  In the rooms of end was imposed very easily for 3-0 to the Luton Town and already in the semifinals managed to pass without barely urgencies upon doing its work at home and to win for 3-0 to the Dartford.  Already in the return game a tie to zero sealed its pair to the the end.  The end will be disputed next week in Wembley set against the Wrexham Welsh that is signing a great campaign and is the favorite candidate of many so much people to win the Blue Square Premier and to elevate to the League Two as to win the FA Trophy.

The current scorer of the team in league is Ross Hannah with 9 goals while the scorer of the FA Trophy is Andy Cook with 4 goals

In diverse forums of the team is spoken of the fall that is having in these last parties the Grimsby and almost all the fans attribute these three continued routs to the possible exhaustion and low forms of the players and upon being in the end of the FA Trophy thing that in teams as the Mansfield or the Kidderminster does not occur and they are fighting for that first plaza that at present occupies the own one Kidderminster.  Being these you reason truth or do not still they remain 10 encounters to the Grimsby to solve this mini crisis and to be able to be placed again in the fight by the first plaza.
