4 games away, 4 season changing defeats

Hope all the people who booed you off the pitch and slagged you off from the stands are forming a queue right now to kiss your feet and make a groveling apology.

What's the deal with Wilson? We've missed Niven for sure, but surely a strong promotion chasing squad should have a back up for this position? Ridiculous that we start every game with so many strikers that at least one is simply not going to get on yet have to play a clearly struggling Disley and Pearson for 90 minutes with no replacement.

Nivens just one cog in the machine though, an important one who protects the back four and gives disley the freedom to support the attackers but our problems seem more deep rooted than one player missing.

I was there, the day Bradley Wood scored a 35 yarder!

From the black and white striped shirts
To the fish in the sea
You'll hear us singing
Coz we are Grimsby.

You won't hear us crying
But you'll hear us shout
Coz we are the Grimsby
And this is our chant.......... Grimsby! Grimsby! Grimsby!

i have/had been championing him for weeks on here, i can forgive the fact that he sometimes cannot pass to a man in a town shirt but the guy offers so much protection to the back four.   Anyone who still doesnt get what he is all about i challenge to when he is fit to return please please please change your seats for just one match and observe him for 90 minutes from the upper findus stand.  Then and only then will you see what a quality player he is, he is way too good for non league and we should be blessed to have him, completely unsung hero in my book.  i personally think it is a massive reason we are conceding goals right now, but we have signed this young kid from hull who is a similar type of player, that has to be a better option than a half fit disley?

Derek niven, get fit again soon we are all missing you, some knew we would and by christ the rest of them have woken up to it to.
