It's unbelievable the amount of times I see our name spelt wrongly in various papers/forums/messageboards etc. You very rarely see other team names spelt wrongly, just seems to be us all the time for some reason. You'd have thought Sky would have got it right though.

It's amazing isn't it - I've seen "GRIMBSY" on Ceefax before now.
Just typed "Grimbsy" into google, and there are 1.13 million hits (cf. 20.3 million for "Grimsby").  Suggests that it's spelt that way about 5% of the time...

Grimbsy...must be a different club who coincidentally played at Cardiff in 2006 (I brought a black and white flag from there with Grimbsy written on it, not noticing at the time obviously) and are playing Nuneaton in the not too distant future

I think the flag I brought did say Grimbsby actually...either that or Grimbsy...Could get a little pre-season tournament set up with Grimbsy and Grimbsby

  speaking of merchandise member ups I've got a Grimsby Town Scarf from the very very early eighties , It actually does say Grimsby Town on it but the club crests at either end are that of west brom..... It's well befor Buckley came here and buggered off there I'd say the scarf is from around 82-83... has anybody else seen one have one like it.. I still have mine and wondered how rare it is....
