Up to the New Year I would have said pretty damn certain-however the loss of Pond (and his goals) and other team disruptions I still give us a more than good chance .......and far better than at least two thirds of this league.

The margin between being a competing BSBP team or a struggling L2 team is very narrow.

The fact that without cash being spunked into the club, we require 6000+ fans for each home game seems to have been overlooked.

The trouble with this very reasonable thinking is that fans' expectations have changed considerably during the season.  

I agree about Pond.  His presence, strength and goals have been greatly missed.  Not to mention his goal clearance at home to Lincoln.  He has not  been replaced. A similar type of player could have filled in midfield when needed.
