Just to let you know, the flag he is talking about and had made, is in honour of Richard Broadley. The trumpet player from the pontoon who was sadly taken away from us.

Or potentially you could have wound your neck in and not been such a twit with the original reply. The OP asked for people bringing flags, someone replies and you have a moan at them.

The act you give on here is pretty boring in all honesty, assuming it is an act.

Yes respect has to be earnt, but surely so does disrespect? The very least you could have done would have been to reply politely as I am sure you would have done when you spoke to the woman in the ticket office.....

The original poster asked people to bring flags, someone then threatens to post a picture of his flag here - a trifle over the top I thought.

You do not of course have to read my posts if you find them boring - I make extensive use of the 'block' facility

I was polite to the ticket office girl as I wanted my £60 back (plus she was pleasant to me)

So why didnt you block him then, instead of attempting to be funny? Since thats what you suggest I do to tedious/boring people?

Again, people were unpleasant towards you once you had been unpleasant and sarcastic in general. Gary's first reponse contained nothing offensive, unless youve had a bad experience with trumpets in the past that is?

It must be clear to you that I knew nothing about the purpose of the flag, nor could I have known, hence my 'psychic' remark. I still question the need to and the purpose which will be served by photographing it on here though - unfurling it at Wembley is surely the best place to reveal it to everyone.

If you wish to continue this discussion or if you still have issues I will be in The Torch on Bridge Road from about 1230/1300 until 1400ish on 24th

The police last time a few days before the game listed the gy pubs around the wembley area, as we are the same side as when we played the dongs hopefully the torch is ours again ???
