I will be embarrassed to have my town out numbered at the home of English football by a small town in wales, people on here banging on about its wrexham first big day out so they will be more up for it is bollox, people seem to forget they won the football league trophy in 2005 at their own national stadium quite rightly outnumbering the Southend fans, I'm really suprised more of an effort hasn't been made to drum up support, driving around town you wouldn't know we are to play at wembley in less than two weeks.

I've had the opposite experience. Every time I've been home I've heard people mentioning Wembley and talking about going etc. we have to look at it and be realistic. Some people still think we are football league side and glory boys who went last time just simply won't go.personally I don't think it means anything if they sell all 40000 tickets in their end.

People can bang on about how it shouldn't make a difference if its their first time but frankly, it does. In a hundred or so years we never really got close to Wembley then in the last 15 years, even though ten of those were flipping awful we've still been to Wembley 4 times and went to Cardiff.

The realists predicted 15000 and that looks about right . The way some people are banging on about it you'd think we were getting 8000 at BP every week. Some people just aren't interested, it's the same in every town.

got to remember though Wrexham is fan owned so its in their interest for the fans to get more fans to go for the money to help run the club.

Obviously we need the money too but its not quite the same.
