I'm sure there are already lots on here who give blood already but just a bit of unashamed promotion for this valuable service in case you don't

I've been for my regular cuppa and biscuits this week and picked up a small something for my 75 donations

It's something that takes no time at all really but helps no end so if you've not considered it before, why not give it a go soon?

Someone somewhere might be eternally thankful for your donation...check out the link if you can be tempted to give it a go!

I had got to 35 about 10 years ago,

Had to give up donating as my blood was not up to the required standard.

I've got a chance to go to some do if I choose...to be honest I'm not doing it for the "glory"

Then again depends on who presents you with your award....if it's some buxom babe I might just be tempted!

As I said though, and as you know, it's a few minutes out of our lives a few times a year so really not a big feat. The more the merrier though Chris!

Similar thing i guess but I've never smoked and rarely drink so I've filled in a form (few months ago) to donate any organs they need when i die. Someone said you usually get something through the post to confirm it but i've recieved nothing? Also the missus is donating some sort of blood from her labour? not 100% sure i know or want to know what it's about but proud of her for doing it.

Do not believe him, we have only 8 pints in our whole body.

I owe many thanks to people like you. Down the years I've had many operations that wouldn't have been possible without blood donors. Well done mate. Keep up the good work. If anybody else is thinking about giving blood, please go for it.
