Who else sat in the Lincoln end and loved it? I've never seen a packed out away section but so many empty seats, had a bit of abuse here and there, but nothing to worry about. Worst bit was when a seventy plus bloke celebrated then a Lincoln scum trying to get him chucked out, even Lincoln fans were sticking up for him.

I was in there daughter held me down when we scored first. Took loads of friendly abuse but no problems in ground or later in the pub. Good win not sure about scoreline but hell who really cares a repeat in next two games and we will be in with real chance of going up as champions. No doubt how your luck changes when you are on winning streak but that said what was penalty for?

More than that! There could only have been about 300 fans in there! Holds over 2,000.

Fair play to those decent Lincoln fans who stuck up for the elderly gent.

You got any pictures or vid, it was great being in there though. I was more less right in the middle of it, I had Marinerian in front of me and he didn't stop singing all game.

Yeah some Lincoln fans were decent, elderly fan and his wife had stewards sat next to him though. Still can't believe we had to sit in there end when the ground is half empty! Don't think you would see that in any other sport. Lincoln fans kept moaning at me saying you're only keeping going cause of fenty! So!

Me and my bruv were sat in the echo stand. Town fans looked amazing from the other side and man was it hard not to celebrate the goals. Was sat about 20 yards from the directors boxes and fentys face of delight when our 3rd goal went in was ace to see. A true mariners fan. The lads played superb and had it not been for the woodwork we could have had 7. All round a great day despite having to sit wiv imp fans. Utm

They did start to pay attention to him once he stood on the chairs, I think it was a case of they could hear but not see him

Yes he stood on the chair for most of the second half, I was sat down and he still didn't spoil my view

I was behind the goal and we bought home end tickets in the club shop today and then got put there when we entered the stand. One of the stewards knew one of us so recognised us as Town fans.

So i believe - its whats on our mariners player info on the side. I find it hard to believe there was 4000 'Home' fans

Never in my days have I heard such rubbish. Not a chance there was 4000 in their home stands. Surely not?

The home part of the stand we where in was pretty full, I think the figure is probably spot on! Why would a club exaggerate an attendance? Surely this would be counterproductive financially.

Your probably right mate, it would be a very strange thing to do? Still for some reason i don't think there was. Just my estimate my looking - i dont no what the stands hold tbh but just by looking i dont think there was 4k home fans today

Aye the co-op alone holds 5700 and it was almost full apart from the segragated area. The echo holds 1700 and looked fullish. It was just the stands behind the goals that were empty.
5702 sounds about right.
