Rugby but putting a camera on the ref sounds like an interesting idea for football. Also, I'd be tempted to make the stadium a wireless hotspot and then you could access the live stream and rewatch what the ref saw. Then you could really shout at him if it was obvious, or try and make your own decision based on what his video footage shows

As with any cam the eye doesn't always see what's in front of it and his interpretation of the game could also cause issues.  Also he may let a tackle go that deserves a booking because how he officiates and that would lead more abuse.

It could be a great way of getting rid of incompetent ref's or used to raise the standard.

could be used for referees there selves as self evaluations/assesor evaluations but i for one think it would be a bad idea as a ref to have one on and made publicy
