My wife has this badge and I've often wondered why a rabbit popping out of a hat, it dates back to the 70's.  Maybe someone from the travel club is more enlightened as to the design.  At a guess it would be that previous Town sides as under dogs often pulled a rabbit out of the hat to get a result against the bigger clubs.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Jesus’ disciple Peter, picked up a fish to get the tribute money from it, Jesus left his thumb print on the fish, bless'ed is the Haddock.

Old football badges are a gold mine, even down to lower league clubs where I suppose not too many were made. Supply and demand nowadays makes them very collectable.

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.

I suppose you can ask what you like...no bidders as yet might tell you something!
