Lots of talk about Lincoln home and away and Mansfield but surely the most important game is the next one, v Wrexham on Friday.
I can't see them bringing many but we really need a large, passionate, supportive crowd behind the team to potentially send us into Christmas as League leaders.
I know all the corporate pre match meals sold out weeks ago. Lots of people will be going out for pre Christmas drinks but what a way to kick the evening off than cheering the Mariners to top of the table, then off down meggies for a few?
Can we get a really decent gate. Is 5,000 asking too much?
Come on lets get BP rocking the team deserves & needs the support of all of us.

Being in and around the top of the league we should be getting 4500+ on a regular basis.
This unfortunatly is not the case.... I'll be there in spirit and watching it on the telly!!

We as fans need to do our part now and we should be looking at 4500 min.
if we can't support them for this match then we need to look at ourselves as fans.

Anyone on facebook? Join in on the event Grimsby V Wrexham, event created by Official GTFC's facebook page and then share the link to spread the word (free advertisement for the club), that's you doing your bit to attract others. https://www.facebook.com/events/440205852678183/I also have a page, "GTFC's black and white army," Give it a like and share too (if you want). It's a page created by me to try and inspire others to get involved and more vocal. Basically me promoting the club. Looking for another admin to help me out too. https://www.facebook.com/pages/GTFCs-black-and-white-army/494332320600710Just me trying to do my bit. UTM.

At this time of year football falls down the pecking order on the priority list however once a full day has been spent with the family thousands of blokes head for the Sanctuary of a football ground to escape for a few hours the sheer madness that descends upon most households. My favourite fixture is the Boxing Day one cos I make sure im always there as it clashes with the Mother In Laws party

Ah fair enough. And yeh I think so. I always see Wrexham as our main threat and well Lincoln as our local rivals (Derby games). So we'll need all the noisy fans we can get into BP for these 2 games, well for all home games but for those who can only afford to pick and choose games I'd advise choosing these 2 games in particular.

the club could do something to boost support with it being christmas and fans wallets under increasing pressure, maybe £7 all areas and kids for a £1? you would be rammed with fans.

Took my ex into the Ponny ( all standing ) the day we beat Halifax 6 - 1... think we were 3 up in about 15 minutes... place was going absolutely bonkers... she sed she was disgusted the way grown men were hugging each other... she never did want to go to another match... so the plan worked then...

It only worked if she copulated off home and did the ironing after getting the tea on.

Its this time of year when I miss not living in Grimsby the most,
I do miss the christmas games,
I remember one Boxing Day game against Hull,
No buses, so a long walk from Scartho with the wife to the park,
18,000 there, then a long walk back to Scartho,
DREW 1-1 , GREAT DAY !!!!!!
Sadly , its takes the wife all her time to walk across the road now.
