GRIMSBY Town Football Club are calling on fans to help them spread some festive cheer. We have 40 of these special black and white Santa suits and around 750 beard and hat sets to give away. The club needs supporters - especially those who sit in the Pontoon stand – to wear the Mariners-themed gear for the televised game against Wrexham next Friday. All you have to do to get your hands on your Santa kit is to present either your ticket for the Red Dragons’ clash, or season ticket, at the club shop. It is hoped that supporters will continue to don the fancy dress for the rest of the games over the Christmas period, including the local derbies against Lincoln City.

Are they free then, just need to show ST or Wrexham game ticket to get one? If not how much are they?

I'm going to go into the clubshop anyway so I'll ask whilst I'm there. Really want one.

So if your going to your 1st game in the pontoon this season only to get your stub for a ticket for lincoln boxing day, you,ll get a free black and white santa,s suit,,nice that,,would have been nice to offer them to the regular few hundred that have travelled 3000 miles to support the club so far this season who dont sit in the pontoon,,seems very false just because the camera,s are there!

Exxcept you needed a stub from the Tamworth game to get a Lincoln ticket, not the Wrexham one.

Good gesture by the club, would be great to see the whole of the pontoon wearing black and white, UTM.
