Brian Laws will be at Waterstones in Freshney Place Shopping Centre, Grimsby on Thursday 22 November from 6.30pm to sign copies of his autobiography ‘Laws of the Jungle: Surviving Football’s Monkey Business’.

Brian’s autobiography (published this autumn) is an entertaining read in which he covers the ins and outs of his football career, including his spell at Grimsby Town and the infamous Bonetti incident.

Am I alone in thinking Brians dad must have written that. My god, why would anyone buy the autobiography of Brian Laws. Still it might be better than Dickie Bird, the cricket umpire. I bought that at a car boot and after 25 pages decided it was better suited to lighting a BBQ

I'm tempted to buy it.  He was always very well spoken in interviews and talked a lot of sense.  He was also at the centre of one of the most memorable periods in Town's recent history, both for good and bad reasons, therefore I'm interested in what he has to say about it.  I don't want it signing, that might devalue it when I stick it on ebay after reading it.

agreed, every word would come out of the book in his boring monotone drone of a voice. i would rather stick a cocktail stick in each of my eyeballs, light one end, then wash  my hair in aviation fuel. than read a single page of the buffoon laws "memoirs"l

talking of laws always makes me think of scunny and adkins.

Is it true that when nigel adkins retires, he plans to spend the next 30 years writing his autobiography, which is almost certainly going to be the longest book in the history of the world ever?
