i think that someone somewhere had a quiet word with Mr pond and said 'get a cheap booking mate if we are in control' getting a yellow for kicking the ball away and therefore missing a meaningless F.A trophy game through suspension was a job well done - finally town are getting savvy!!

Some Rees/Watson-esque in-fighting ?? That resulted in red cards, so maybe not

Can't believe too much coming from the BBC, ESPN soccernet is even more unbeleivable - it has(had) us after Saturday still in third place with 33 pts after 19 games - must have been updated but I lost faith!
I hope we are getting more savvy - that way we stop complaining about others cheating (apart from Cheetwood and Creepy) - and  we win at all costs! UTM

Its hard enough remembering my opinions without remembering my reasons for them!
Brisbane - beautiful one day and perfect the next! UTM!!!

Although final responsibility lies with the BBC for publishing the erroneous statistics on their website, they're actually compiled by the Press Association, so most of the blame for the mix-up lies with them.

neither was I, however the BBC get its stuff from the press association, so hardly can blame the BBC. Tondeur said on the radio it was Pond however he also wasn't sure if it was Thomas at the time.

also there is another thread on here that says it was Thomas

so who knows, Though going of Tondeur's twitter after the match he seems to have confirmed it was Pond with Scott.

mind you we could have done with Thomas being suspended rather than Pond, Pond can be replaced by Miller, Thomas has no replacement.

I remember a player of ours doing it last season in an league tie prior to an FAT game. Hurst was questioned about it afterwards and he had a wry smile.
