From what I understand, their loans are due to expire on the 23rd December. So does this mean that we won't be able to renew their loan deals until the transfer window opens again in January? It'd be a massive blow to lose them over the Christmas period!

What a shame looks like we'll miss them for the two Lincoln matches and Mansfield, 3 very important matches.

That has been the case since they signed.

As they signed outside the transfer window the maximum time they could be here is 93 days meaning neither will be available for Lincoln and Mansfield (away)

I wouldnt be surprised to see a striker in on loan. This will have to be done shortly because i think the loan window closes soon (before end of Nov?)

We may be able to sign them for the Lincoln home game as we did it on new years day with Miller last year.

With the frontman gone until the start of January, and unlikely to return, the joint managers are planning to strengthen their squad.

The arrival of another temporary signing could be one option, and Scott is also hopeful of tying down Town's current loan stars on a more permanent basis.

They will definately get another striker on loan to replace Elding and I'm hoping they can tie down Hannah, Pond, and Nielson, with Marshall extending his loan until the end of the season.  Unfortunately it's out of our hands losing the loanees could have a bad impact to our season.  Sometimes it's the player that has to initiate the move by asking for mutual termination I can see that happening to Nielson but Hannah and Pond will require a fee.

Interesting to see someone tweeted Ross asking him to stay and he replied - Cheers mate, outta my hands atm but we'll see what happens next month. To me that indicates he wants to stay

Scott and hurst we have a few in mind...weather they can sign them up is another matter! Busy xmas period means teams will be wary of letting players go.

I would have thought Pearson will be up and running by then in terms of match fitness so surely he'll slot straight in up front. With Marshall and Colbeck on the wings or possibly Soares, don't really see it as much of an issue myself as all those are good enough.

If we are near the top, it will be much easier to attract loan players.

I hope we can sign or extend the loans we already have as all have played a huge role in our performances.

The xmas derby games are sizing up nicely now, lincoln seem to be hitting a touch of form and as it stands right now we'll have a weaker squad without the current loanees but in S&H i trust. My guess is either replacements are lined up, long term deals will be done or returning injured players will play their part. Even with games in hand on us, we're top and want to stay there.

I was there, the day Bradley Wood scored a 35 yarder!

Funny you should say that. I saw a post from a Bradford fan on a forum saying that they should recall Ross Hannah as he's scoring regularly and let us have Connell, who many Bradford fans don't rate.

I can't imagine that buggerall will be done...i expect they've been trying to solve the problem. However, one positive is that when a team is playing well as we are, other players step up when called upon. Everyone wants to involved and part of a winning team.

H & S both seem to leave the paperwork and player hunting in the background until the ink is dry - that works for me!

Good choices and lots of persuading to bring those in at present - credit for these, and hopefully working on longer signings from all of them if they are happy here.

The chance is there to take to go back into the league if the team can keep going in this vein for the rest of the season, so they would only have to wait until May to attain league contracts.

If they can pinch another quality short term signing or two to cover Xmas, then we are well up for the New Year.

Does Conor Townsend fancy a quick run out at left wing for a month?

He knows he was popular here - maybe it might be a chance to do a version of Bale by moving forward if he's blocked at left back at Hull without Steve Bruce having to experiment with him??

Quality cover as well if Aswad picks up a ban for 5 bookings?

March time at the very earliest I've heard, but there's a chance he won't be back properly until pre-season.

My grandad said that dave Moore said on radio before the match that he'll be back around march...personally think he'll get 10 mins here and there mid Feb time but no point rushing him back we will need him for the play offs at worst
