At the moment Newport are in pole position. However, as the article below emphasises, other teams (such as Grimsby) are better equipped to win the league.

I don't know if we will win it and I'm not holding my breath just yet...will Newport win it? I don't think so. Aside from town I think Wrexham are a good shout.

Too early to say with confidence and it is wide open. I doubt we'll have a better chance to win this league than this year by the looks of things. Think Luton and Town are best set-up (budget, support, squad size and quality etc) to win it, so naturally I'll go for Luton.

It's too open to call it but I voted Town because I am biased and believe we can do it if the players go for it.  I think after Easter there will only be about 3 teams in with a chance of going up as Champions, this league at the minute is so open it's like watching Town

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

I can't see anyone beyond Grimsby Luton and Wrexham to be honest. These 3 teams to finish top 3, i'll go Grimsby to win the league just because I'm going to be biased on this debate

Bit harsh...does it matter whose written it? It's actually quite a well written piece, or does it not count if its not in the Guardian?

If Newport win it b4 heir vist to BP, I will sit in The Osmond dressed as Little Bo-Peep for the match against them!

Town,Wrexham and Luton have to be the strongest contenders for winning the league surely, No reason why Town can not win the league this season   with Wrexham winning the playoffs.

Grimsby and proud!

On paper certainly. It's up for grabs this year, no one is running away with it like last 2 seasons, anyone can beat anyone.

If we can put a run together of 20 unbeaten like last season, there's no reason why we can't take it by the scruff of its neck, although a lot depends on our business in January.
