After a slow start and 1-0 down,

HT. we are 2-1 up,

Not a bad game for a friendly.

Yeah, decent game. Joe Hart's looking a bit shaky though, which hopefully Roy Keane will point out seeing as no-one else ever does.

Decent effort from the young England team, great goals from Ibrahimovic, even more so the last one, but Joe Hart was a shambles tonight!

4-2 is a harsh score for the whole game, but by the end the team we had on was a weak team and you could see the difference

Going through a loss of confidence syndrome happens to the best, their 4th goal if he tried it another ten times I guess he would miss them

I think you are wrong Garth.
I think Zlatan can make it 5 of 10.

Oh I agree, my main gripe is just that he seems immune from criticism (Caulker's goal for Spurs on Sunday for example).

£150 up thanks to Betfreds double delight/hat trick heaven.

That fourth was ridiculous. Zlatan is like a good Mario Balotelli.

Incredible, so good I'm taping it.

Years ago used to think Ibrahimovic was overrated.
More recently think he's technically one of the best in the world, even possibly one of the greatest ever.

You can keep your Messi dribbles and your Ronaldo whinges, this is the player I'd want to be.

I 100% agree with this. I too use to think he was overrated. But he has proved to be one of the greats.

Great finish by Ibrahimovic for his last goal, but he only got the chance because of yet another member-up by Hart. Three goals gifted to him tonight, two by the keeper and I reckon putting Shawcross on the pitch was as good as gifting him the second - the lad is barely good enough for the Premiership, let alone the England team!

I'm very worried about the qualifiers with Hart in his current form and it doesn't look as though he's going to be dropped at any point in the immediate future.

Plus points? I suppose Welbeck, Cleverley and Baines all played decently enough. Stirling a bit too lightweight at present and lost possession leading to counter-attacks on too many occasions but he's obviously got some ability for the future. Caulker looks as though he ought to be a decent enough player in time, too.

Messi wouldn't have volleyed it in - he'd have taken it down, dribbled past a couple of players then rolled it in.

Ronaldo would have taken it down and smacked it into the top corner.

Ibrahimovic isn't close to those two, I'm afraid.

Of course not, one is at Real Madrid, one is at Barcelona, and the other is at PSG. No way near close to each other.

Sorry bad joke.

But I can't stand Rubber legs Ronaldo.

Like it not footballs changed.

Nowadays it's a lot more about pace and closing down space.
Sure there's still skill on offer but when it comes it comes to brilliance the pickings are slim.

Socrates, George Best and Hoddle were among the best flair players in my book.
Maradona was probably the greatest of all, just a shame he was such a cheating twit.

I don't know what happened,

We were winning 2-1 and I had to pop out,

When I got back it was 3-2 to them,

I saw the 4th Sweden goal, poor header from Hart but a  one in a million finish by a player I have never rated,

Overall good game, some strange selections by Hodgson and a poor game fro Hart again,

Time for Hart to have a bit of time out to rediscover his best form.

just waiting for some moron on talksport to tell us that ibra is not that good, coz if he was any good he would've played in the premiershite.........

have thought for the last 6-12 months that hart is not as good as the english media make out. international class yes, world class - you're having a laugh. shame we haven't got another friendly - would be interested to see how forster, the celtic keeper got on/

enjoyed it last night - thought there were a lot of positives from a very young, inexperienced team. far more continental in their play - was sooo good to see a lack of aimless punts down the channel or from the keeper.
was impressed with osman - had never really seen him properly before - had dismissed him as just a journeyman premiershite pro; but on that evidence he looked a proper european type player. would have been interesting to see him move abroad - he looked the type of player who would really shine in a more technical league.
sterling did bluddy well for a 17 year old, whilst caulker and cleverley looked at home in that type of football.
caulker and cahill looked the sort of partnership that could be the regular pair for many years
what stood out for more was the pace and mobility  of the team (especially attacking wise) as well as the inclusion of more technically able players.
