Phil Jevons that is...unless there are three minutes to go and we are several goals to the good...
just not worth the risk...

Especially if he picks the ball up about 35 yards out in the last minute with the score 1-1

Depends. I seem to remember Barry Conlon getting a load of shit from Bradford fans and he responded by producing one of the worst performances I've ever seen!

Will Town fans really boo him? Did he leave on bad terms?

Exactly Adam, Jevons should be applauded, That wonder goal what he scored against Liverpool to get us the win will always stick in my mind, Mind you i hope he has a bad game tonight though.

Wasting a few seconds when some other players had wasted an entire season. Should put it into perspective really.
12 goals in 29 league games isn't bad in a very poor team.

Baldrick ! The only impression you can do is that of a man with no talent !!

Jevons gave me perhaps the greatest moment I've ever experienced as a Grimsby fan, it'd be disappointing to see him booed.

I heared him and the Immortal one - Peter Furneaux had some disagreement, and he got pushed out the door so to speak

Probally heared it on here... lol

Should of kept him, may of been all the difference between our current decline... Jevons that is... lol

How much did Grimsby Town pay for him? I'm sure it was about 250K!!!

We did pay £250,000 for Jevons,

There was an agreement that after so many games we would pay Everton and Jevons more money,

After Jevons got near that number we did not play him,

So I can understand how Jevons feels,

By the way, we were top of the now championship when Jevons was playing for us.
