hotmail-outlook problems?

after an update my e-mail has now changed from hotmail to outlook,but im not getting emails sent from various senders such as ebay,paypal etc,this was not the case on the old hotmail account just happened when it switched to outlook,anyone had anything similar and if so how did you resolve it? any help would be very much appreciated.

Check your spam filter in outlook. It may be blocking them.
